Our advantages

What do we consider to be the advantages of our IVF centre?

Our IVF centre was established in 1987 and is, therefore, one of the first IVF centres in Germany. The IVF experience of our medical staff goes back to 1984 (Munich-Großhadern University Hospital).

Our IVF centre has very high annual treatment figures (more than 2000 embryo transfers per year) in comparison with other IVF clinics in Germany. Therefore, we have extensive therapy experience with above average treatment results.

We consider the high level of homogeneity and stability of the whole team with a low staff turnover for more than 15 years to be something very special. Our patients are looked after by a total of 62 dedicated and professionally trained members of staff who take care of all aspects of fertility treatment.

Since 1999 (as one of the first IVF centres), we have implemented a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 with regular re-certifications within the framework of the applicable EU directives.
In addition, we were – as one of a few IVF centres in Germany – accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15189 and DIN EN ISO 17025 between 2006 and February 2009 (IVF laboratory and hormone laboratory). Since 2009, new EU directives have applied, the requirements of which were already being met by us.

We perform all the necessary treatments (apart from follicular punctures) even at weekends and on public holidays. We regard this as a service for our patients!

It is very important to us that almost all the treatment stages and treatment data are transparent for our patients. We try to optimise this transparency as far as possible through the eService Portal.
Our centre also offers the option of an online appointment system.

Since 2010, we have been one of the first IVF centres to only work with digital “patient records” and no longer in paper! This guarantees a completely smooth and significantly more efficient treatment process for the approx. 100,000 patient contacts per year (in person/by telephone, by e-mail or online portal).

Since 2011 (after the law was passed by the German Bundestag), we have been one of the first IVF centres in Germany to successfully perform pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) with an analysis of all the chromosomes for the diagnosis of chromosomal changes in the embryos.

Approval as a PGD centre (centre for pre-implantation genetic diagnosis) was granted by the State Ministry for Health and and Healthcare on 2nd July 2015 for our centre along with Dr Claudia Nevinny-Stickel-Hinzpeter (Human Genetics, Munich).
